What EHCP Clarity provides
EHCP Clarity is an AI-assisted case preparation workspace. It helps parents and carers organise documents, generate draft text, and prepare materials for EHCP applications, appeals, and reviews.
EHCP Clarity does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or tribunal advocacy. All outputs are starting points for your own review and must be adapted to reflect your exact circumstances before use. See our disclaimer for more detail.
Minimum age
You must be 18 or older to use EHCP Clarity, or between 16 and 17 years old with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. This service is not intended for direct use by persons under 16. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Payment
- EHCP Clarity is free to use for case setup, guided input, and document organisation.
- Unlocking the complete pack (AI tools, drafts, readiness review, and export) for a specific case costs a one-off payment of £249.
- Payment is per case. You can have unlimited free cases; each case you wish to unlock is charged separately.
- There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- The £249 charge is applied at the time you choose to unlock a case and gives you permanent access to that case's complete pack.
Cancellation and refunds — digital content
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a contract for digital content. However, Regulation 37 provides that this right is lost once you have accessed digital content — provided you have given your express prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you will lose your cancellation right as a result.
Before completing payment, you will be asked to confirm: "I acknowledge that EHCP Clarity will make unlocked features available immediately and I agree to lose my 14-day cancellation right once I access those features." By ticking that box and proceeding to payment, you give that consent and acknowledgement.
As a result, once you have accessed any unlocked feature after payment, you are not entitled to a refund solely because you have changed your mind.
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing the service after payment, contact us at support@ehcppackbuilder.co.uk and we will work with you to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed services.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or text that does not accurately reflect your circumstances.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of any documents or submissions you make to a local authority or tribunal.
- You must not use EHCP Clarity for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others.
- You must keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.
- You must not upload documents containing personal data about third parties beyond what is strictly necessary for your case preparation.
No outcome guarantee
Using EHCP Clarity does not guarantee any particular outcome in your EHCP application, appeal, or review. Every case is different and depends on individual facts, evidence, and the decisions of local authorities and tribunals. EHCP Clarity is a preparation tool only.
Intellectual property
The content you upload and the personal information you enter remains yours. The AI-generated outputs produced from your content are also yours to use for your case. EHCP Clarity retains no licence to use your personal case data beyond delivering the service to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EHCP Clarity's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) £249.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to: the outcome of any EHCP application, appeal, review, or tribunal hearing; loss of data through your own actions; reliance on AI-generated content without independent review.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of EHCP Clarity will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
